Best Buy
This feel good ad from the creatives Tony Durston and Monty Verdi at CHI was directed by Guy Manwaring at Sonny London. The commercial follows our very chipper Best Buy employee through the streets of London to the technology store Best Buy.
The cyclists were re-timed in Flame so that the preferred action of our hero and the cyclists jump all happened in unison.
Many variations of the fountain and its timing with the music and foreground action were tried, as we looked to establish the maximum affect.
Flame was used for many other invisible fx throughout the commercial which is set against the very catchy tune, ‘Jeans On’ by Graham Blvd.
