Finish worked closely with Sara to develop the look of the neck joins and methodology for the complex fx shots needed for the commercial.

The shoot was done with body doubles to give the illusion of the heros holding their own heads. Holes were built in the studio floor for the models bodies to be hidden in, 3D neck lines were then tracked on and comped in Flame and heads stabilised.

Where the heads were being taken off and then reattached the live action heads were projected onto the 3D models with 3D hair being used to blend where takeovers were done between fx shots and live action.

Close attention to detail was needed with shadows being removed or added where needed and plates combined where the actors bodies were removed.
